This dissertation analyses the current legal framework in Kenya with regard to service pay. In addition, it analyses the legal framework in other jurisdictions such as India, Sri- Lanka and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries with due regard to Kenya's legal system and methods. It highlights how other jurisdictions have properly and conclusively legislated on service pay and provides suggestions such as statutory reform in order to improve the law on service pay in Kenya.en_US
