In South Kivu, where agriculture served as the primary livelihood, the economy relied heavily on farming, fishing, and small to medium enterprises. Despite favorable conditions for agriculture, the sector remained underdeveloped, potentially due to insufficient extension support programs. Agricultural output met household needs but lacked surplus for commercial ventures. The research drew on Diffusion Innovation Theory, Financial Intermediation Theory, and Cobb-Douglas Production Function, employing a correlational research design. The study aimed to assess the impact of such programs on agricultural productivity among small-scale farmers, focusing on input supplies, technical assistance, agro-information access, and credit access. Various theories, the research employed a correlational design with a sample of 307 farmers. Findings indicate significant associations between gender and factors affecting productivity, including land access and farm input sourcing. Education levels also influenced agricultural practices, highlighting the importance of education in enhancing productivity. The research advocates for improved access to extension support programs, emphasizing the need for diverse technical assistance and alternative channels for information dissemination to unlock South Kivu's agricultural potential. Key Words: Farm input, technical assistance, agri-information, credit access, agricultural productivity, South Kivu
