dc.description.abstractThis study undertakes to analyze the existing anti-terrorism laws in Kenya, interrogate their application and question whet her there is adequate protection against infringement of privacy rights. The study narrows down its review of case studies on areas of surveillance and mobile technology which have defined themselves as the new front lines of privacy protection battles in this digital age . The study canvasses both local and international legislation, case law and the impact of western foreign policy on counterterrorism and its effect on local privacy rights.
